Bio 

Aniket Sachan is a Ph.D. Candidate in the area of Information Systems and Analytics at the Indian Institute of Management Tiruchirappalli (IIM Trichy). He is committed to interdisciplinary inquiry and rigorous scholarship. Here is his CV.

He earned his Master of Science (MS) in Computational Social Science (CSS), India’s first flagship program, collaboratively offered by the School of AI and Data Science, the School of Liberal Arts, and the Center for Mathematical and Computational Economics at the Indian Institute of Technology Jodhpur (IIT Jodhpur). He holds an undergraduate degree (B.A.) from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University (formerly Kanpur University), Kanpur.

He values academic excellence and intellectual versatility. In 2020, he qualified for the prestigious IIT Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE). He secured 7th position in the Digital Humanities Entrance Examination and received an admission offer from IIT Jodhpur. He also qualified for the Common Admission Test (CAT), the national-level entrance exam for management programs in India conducted by the IIMs. Additionally, he successfully cleared the UGC’s National Eligibility Test (NET) for Assistant Professorship.

His research potential has been recognized by premier institutions. He received admission offers for the Ph.D. programs in Information Systems at IIT Madras, IIT Kharagpur, and IIM Raipur, and was shortlisted for interviews at IIM Ahmedabad and IIM Calcutta.

At IIM Trichy, he is dedicated to contributing novel insights to the field of Information Systems.
